Remembrance Dutch Crocus

Crocus vernus 'Remembrance' (Dutch Crocus) is an early spring blooming bulb (corm) with large flowering royal purple blooms that will bring your garden beautiful spring color. A good companion for early Daffodils, Crocus 'Remembrance' typically grows to 4-6” tall. Flowers close at night and open up in the morning. Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Avoid heavy clay and moist soil conditions. Plant bulbs (corms) about 3” deep and 3-4” apart in the fall. Crocus will multiply (naturalize) and come back year after year if left undisturbed. If corms are planted in the lawn, foliage should be left unmowed until the foliage yellows, approximately six weeks after bloom. Good for forcing indoors.
